Today, Fastly begins offering the ability to control per-service access for users assigned the role of engineer as part of a [limited availability](https://docs.fastly.com/products/fastly-product-lifecycle#limited-availability) feature addition to user management account settings. As part of this release, the following service guides were updated:

- Adding and deleting user accounts
- User roles and how to change them
- Who receives your bill

In addition, this release creates a new [Invitations API endpoint](https://www.fastly.com/documentation/reference/api/account/invitations/) that specifically supports bulk invitation operations in addition to the ability to create invitations granting engineers limited service permissions. Some time after it becomes [generally available](https://docs.fastly.com/products/fastly-product-lifecycle#general-availability), this new API endpoint will replace our existing Invitation API endpoint in accordance with our [feature deprecation process](https://docs.fastly.com/products/fastly-product-lifecycle#product-or-feature-retirement).
